Paint Ups and Sketches
I find painting and sketching to be helpful in developing designs and colour experiments, for this I use gouache, watercolours and high quality paper.
When a client requests a large commission I like to make a detailed paint up so that they can be sure on the colour scheme and overall appearance.
This is a small selection of my designs, it can take a long time before a design is ready to be produced, many different areas need to be considered and carefully planned, especially with the larger more complex jewellery.

Heretage and Habitat collection
I am passionate about the environment and preservation so this collection combines recognisable British historical buildings such as National Trust castles and abbeys with a flora or fauna indigenous to that place. Enamelling, engraving and goldsmithing are all classified as heritage crafts, the buildings I have chosen all have historical importance and have helped to preserve heritage in the UK, from architecture to teaching.
